when I told my father I wanted to go into the salon and beauty industry, he replied, “be the best at what you love doing and you will always be in demand.” I attended aveda’s flagship school in minneapolis and trained under their top stylists. from there, I was given the opportunity to travel throughout the midwest as an aveda color trainer. while I have gained experience, I have never stopped learning for the benefit of my clients and their experience in my chair.

now as an owner at blend, my father's words still ring in my ears; both as a foundation for the salon, and also for my own daily practice.
