Artist Sam Francis once said: "Color is born of the interpenetration of light and dark." I believe that every canvas of hair is a work of art. Inspiration and creativity are found everywhere if you can just let go and let life take you on your journey. After finding out I couldn’t draw or paint more than a horrible stick figure in a game of hangman, I decided to find another creative outlet. I found that outlet the day I introduced myself to my first client. Immediately hooked and feeling the need to further my education, I pursued licenses in barbering and as an instructor of cosmetology/barbering, in addition to my cosmetology license. The opportunities and blessings have continued throughout the years and my love for creating beautiful hair has only grown. After 13 years behind the chair, I still love it.
